Memo access db field error in qlikview

Hi,

I have a mandatory field called History(memo datatype) in an access database and it shoots an error while loading the table to Qlikview.

Error: QVX_UNEXPECTED_END_OF_DATA: SQL##f - SqlState: S1000, ErrorCode: 4294966090, ErrorMsg: [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Cannot open database '|'.  It may not be a database that your application recognizes, or the file may be corrupt.

I have the latest copy of a working database and  assume it is due to the large size of data residing in that particular field per row (being a memo datatype).I am currently using an ODBC connection.Any ideas how to go about with this issue?
