New Flag Column

Hi,

Is there a possibility to create new field that will serve as a flag to determine if a certain data belongs to a particular table..

because I want to join two tables with different format and I have different computation for that two tables...

hi,

Yes you can create a flag like below

Load

'A' as Type,

otherfield

from Table1

concatenate

Load

'B' as Type,

otherfield

from Table1

And use the Type as a flag...
