is it possible to export charts to excel via macro while having the checkbox "print and export to excel" unchecked? (using Ajax Client)
It didn't work with printing reports, unfortunately.

I don't think macro's like that will work at all in the ajax client. I also don't think that restriction applies to macros but you could also disable "Allow unsafe macro execution on server".
But to be honest with you I haven't tested it.
