Qlikview Web Server

Hi,

I need some assistance on how to get started with accessing qlikview through internet explorer. I have installed the plugin though unsure of where to head from there. Could someone point me in a solid direction? Not sure what URL I need to enter to get to a point where I can access documents.

Ta!

Hi Dave,

first step:

the url to the access point will be

http://localhost/qlikview/index.htm

substitute localhost for the name of your qlikview server.

Hi qlikdave,

presumably your organisation has QlikView installed somewhere - if so there should be someone there who can help.

If you've just installed QlikView desktop and want to access it via IE, then I'm afraid you're out of luck - QVWS is only available if you purchase QlikView.

Hi Marcus,

We have recently purchased a Qlikview server and licenses. Have spent a lot of time developing qlikview docs though have spent little time on the server side.

If u installed ur qv server,go to start --all programs--QliKView--select from here which ever u want whether AP or QEMC.

else

simply type on ur browser:

http://localhost:4780/qmc/UserDocuments.htm   ---qemc

http://localhost/qlikview/index.htm   ---- AP
