Search object acting funny on server

Hi

The Search object on my dashboard wont respond to clicks !

It highlights the object sucessfully, but does not select it as a fitler.

This is peculiar because it only happens to the files deployed on the server.... the same file works fine when opened directly on my desktop

This has been working for a year now... and suddenly stopped working. 

Any ideas ?

I believe I'm having the same problem, but I don't know the cause or fix.
