Access problem to graphics using Qlik-Addin

Hello all,

We are facing a problem while trying to add visualizations to our report Excel. The add-in is well installed and our access to Qlik Cloud is good. However whenever we try to preview our graphics or insert them in our Excel sheet, we get an authorization error as shown in the attached files. Knowing that the user who developped the application is the same one who is trying to generate the report. So basically she has all the privileges required.

1. Permissions: Check to ensure that the app developer (who needs the developer role) is connected to an app that is in a shared space and with the correct app ID.

2. Connected to a shared space app: Also recheck that the connection to the app is working normally. Please check here to verify the app/tenant connection for the app that is in a 'shared' space:

3. Public sheets required for reporting purposes: Also ensure that the images that you are trying to render are in a sheet that is in a 'public' state (it should not be in a 'private' state).

Thank you for your reply. The user who tries to access the app is the one who created it. So basically she has the rights to edit it display its public and private sheets. The access to the app via Qlik Add-in is possible too. The issue is when we try to use its graphics. The graphics are not deleted nor masked for this user.

Hi Again.

Not sure what you mean by 'masked'.

I will restate that your sheet(s) containing the chart objects that you want to export as images must be made public.

Right click on the sheet and select 'Public' from the context menu.

Then reconnect to the app to refresh and use the changes.
