Filters in Tabular Reporting - Qlik Cloud

Hello,

I am facing an issue when using the same file for user distribution list in two tasks.

1. I have a task that doesn't have any filters at task-level and

2. I have another task that has filters at the task-level.

I am using an excel file to maintain the user distribution list and assigned a filter to myself that corresponds to the filter in the 2nd point above. I am using this same file for both the tasks above and what I noticed is, even though there are no filter at task-level in the 1st one, I got a report with the reduced data as per the filter from the excel file.

I want the task to apply the filters to my name only in 2nd task and not apply for the 1st task. Any suggestions on how to achieve this?

Thank you,

Apoorva

Hi,

You may need to load yourself twice in user list and assign yourself to 2 separate groups. One group will be used by 1st task and another by 2nd task. For 1st row you assign yourself a filter and for second row you dont.

You can have multiple entries for the same user when importing users and as long as you can diffrenciate between them by using for example groups you can achive the requirement you want.
