I am using Qlik Cloud Reporting and I have an excel template. I have created page levels to cycle through the Currency Type field to create 3 Excel Tabs- Functional, Reporting, and Original.
I want to insert a pivot table from the Reporting tab, but that gets created on the fly by the page level tag.
I can insert a pivot table by the standard way - adding columns from the table, but if I filter to Reporting Currency Type the page level only Reporting. If I do not filter the Currency Type I get the three Tabs - Functional, Reporting, and Original but the pivot table uses the first tab (Functional)
How can I insert a pivot table from a tab that is created from a page level on the fly?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Brian
Hi
A native Excel PivotTable cannot be placed inside a Qlik level, but it can be placed on a worksheet that uses a Qlik page

Hi @Brip51
This is hard to do but not impossible!
It is a matter of using the same sheet for pivot table and straight table data. We don't know your data volume or your pivot table size once it gets created so I am not sure if its possible. My way of working with it is to populate straight table data say from row 10000 downwards allowing rows 1-10000 to be used for a pivot table and referencing it as a named table instead of cells range.
That method works (cause I test my answers so I know 😁) and for every new sheet you get pivot table pointing to source table from the same sheet.
hope that helps.
