Reporting - PixelPerfect Cross Tab with text

Hi there,

I'm hoping to get an idea of how you would build out a 'cross tab' or Pivot table but with text instead of numerics - using Qlik, you can do this with the 'only' function, however the Cross tab object in the PixelPerfect designer only gives you the basic 'sum/count' etc. numeric summary options

We've trialed doing this using vertical report bands due to the dynamic number of columns, but to get a tabular view below this, we can't seem to add a horizontal band below a vertical band, so our levelling doesn't work.

Any help would be appreciated - unfortunately we've noticed there is very limited documentation around this product, we've used NPrinting in the past for advanced reporting functionality which provided very detailed documentation and examples but unfortunately it seems as though this product does not have the same available.....

Perhaps this will provide the guidance you need.

However, it may be necessary to reach out to Qlik Professional Services to assist and iterate with you with further regarding this and other more complex report development requirements which you may have.

Others here may also have suggestions as well.

Kind regards

As I mentioned in the original post - the default 'cross tab' outlined in the example you provided does not seem to support strings, like Qlik does with the only() function

It seems as though the product does not support this, we will just advise the client to look elsewhere for their reporting requirements
