Reporting Roadmap Update: New Authoring Modes & Private Preview Invitation
The Qlik Cloud Analytics Reporting roadmap continues to deliver enhancements that give you greater control over your enterprise reporting workflows. Recent updates include: • Multi-template report tasks – enabling report tasks to include multiple different reports in the distribution to participants. • Custom roles – supporting governance and user-level control over report creation. • Configurable SMTP sender name – allowing the sender name for the SMTP configuration to be defined for the tenant.
Coming Soon: PowerPoint & Word Authoring via O365 Add-in Next on the roadmap: support for Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word report templates using the O365 Add-in. These new authoring modes will complement our existing tabular reporting capabilities and the Qlik Add-in for Microsoft Excel.
As with the Excel Add-in, we’ll be launching a private preview to validate that Microsoft’s O365 add-in platform can effectively support these use cases.
