Hello,
I am trying to set qlik sense so that users can open apps passing tickets.
So I created a service that receives userDirectory and userId and returns a ticket.
When I use the ticket created for my user (which has a valid license) I can see the app
(ex. browsing the url https://myserver/sense/app/1d40c074-0633-4063-90ec-bd66e7957f99?qlikTicket=0v7DUqNpH8dncwIq).
If I do the same but with a user that doesn't have a license but it is in my custom userDirectory I get the message:
"You cannot access Qlik Sense because you have no access pass"
Does this happen because the user doesn't have a license?
If yes, what can I do to let users oen my app with a ticket (mayube there is some setting to do?)?
Thanks
Hi,
Yes the issue is because your user does not have a license.
You can create a rule to automatically assign a license to any user part of your custom User Directory.
Instead of user.name in the rule you can use user.directory
Hope this helps!

Unfortunately, I don't have "Login access rules"
I only have
"License usage summary
Professional access allocations
Professional access rules
Analyzer access allocations
Analyzer access rules
Analyzer capacity rules
Site License
Qlik Datamarket"
Hi,
This is because you are using a different license model. Your license model is Professional/Analyzer but the suggestion above is still applicable.
So you will need decide what type of license you want to provide to you users and then create the associated rule.
