Add OAuth-Support for the Rest Web Service Connector in Qlik Sense Cloud

Microsoft is removing Web Service Access Keys (Basic Auth) for SaaS with Business Central 2022 release wave 1 (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/upgrade/deprecated-features-...). From April 2022 the Rest Connector doesn't work with Business Central SaaS API (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics-nav/api-reference/v2.0/). OAuth-Support for the Rest Web Service like with your "Microsoft Dynamics CRM V2 Connector" is necessary to access the Business Central API (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/developer/devenv-develop-con...).

Any update on this one Qlik?

Not having Oauth authentication on the REST connector nor having a Business Central connector will make it difficult to use Qlik with BC after wave 2022.

I'm looking at alternative solutions (CData Sync + Azure SQL DB) to handle this requirement, which I don't want to when using Qlik Sense SaaS

Any update to this or the linked (and similar) idea.

Perhaps  @Michael_Tarallo  could help out?

Microsoft have released a new BC Connector for Power BI which also has the new common API endpoints, as well as the 'legacy' Odata feeds. Wondering if anyone from Qlik will acknowledge this idea? @Jamie_Gregory

As the idea to have a Business Central connector has been marked as "Not Planned",  (see here > Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Connector ... - Page 2 - Qlik Community - 1775186), which is very disappointing, will this idea be looked at?

Can you comment on this please @P-O_Davidson ?

We already can connect to Business Central via REST, but as Microsoft are depreciating the web service key access method, we need OAuth support on either the REST or ODATA connection.

Can someone at Qlik please look into this idea?

Likewise we have a heavy need for this and we are running out of lead time to get the leg work done.
