Add data files to an existing app from the Catalog
Hello, here is a feature request for Qlik Sense Cloud Platform.
While browsing the catalog, we find data files (qvds, xlsx ...). By clicking on a data file, we have the option to create an app from this data file. But we cannot add this data file to an existing app. We have to go to the app and add the data file by browsing the catalog again.
It would be great to have the ability to add the data file to an existing app from the Catalog. From the Catalog, we can easily preview the data files with the profiling button, see the data file properties and tags so be sure that this is the file that we need. We are one click left from adding this data file to our app but we can't. From the app, it's easy to add a data file from the Catalog but we cannot easily see the properties and preview as in the Catalog.
Moreover, if we would be able to add the data file to an existing app, we could do it for multiple data files : if my data files have been tagged and I search for the data files based on this tag, I could select multiple data files that are relevant for my analysis and add all the data files to my app with one click.
