Allow OneDrive connection to handle refresh token

When a one drive connector is created Microsoft either has a time limited  connector or if it is not time limited it will refresh the token at connection time. In the microsoft realm it is able to automatically use this new refresh token to automatically update the token. Qlik does not seem to handle it and after 90 days it will need to be manually refreshed. Ideally these tokens should be able to maintain the refresh as designed in the microsoft space.

From what I could gather, this could be a limitation on Microsoft's side. However we could still have something in the product alerting admins before the 90 days expire, so that the connection can be refreshed.

Hello Daniele,

I found this thread on microsoft community :

https://www.microsoftpartnercommunity.com/t5/Multi-Factor-Authentication-MFA/OAuth-Refresh-token-has...

It seems there is a solution to regenerate a token silently after every connection.

So the token expires only if it is not used during 90 days.

Hi,

Automatic refresh of the authentication token before expiring is now implemented in the OneDrive connector, and additional Microsoft connectors. See What's new in Qlik Cloud for November 29, 2022.

The refresh occurs when the connector is used at least once every 90 days. If used infrequently, the authentication might still need to be manually refreshed.

Cheers,
P-O Davidson
