Allow data download from the Direct Query chart

For data sources that are not Direct query, I can download the data from the table chart into Excel.

However, when using Direct Query to connect to Snowflake and create a table chart, the data download menu does not appear. The ability to download data to Excel is also required when using Direct Query.

We are trying to pull the data to excel to satisfy the live office use cases, the approach we are trying to do that is Snowflake --> Qlik (Direct Query)--> Analytics Gate (Excel Plugin) The problem we ran with this approach is while loading the data from Qlik (Direct Query) --> Analytics Gate (Excel Plugin) the data is limited to 1000 records (Note : This is happening only to direct query). IS there any way to remove Limit on the size of data

Hi

In regards to the 1000 record question, we added a new variable end of Jan which can be included in the script:

https://help.qlik.com/en-US/cloud-services/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sense_Hub/DirectQuery/internal-var...

this allow the 1000 row limit to be configured higher to enable more rows to be rendered in supported charts (with paging) within Qlik Sense so it will need to be validated if this will pass through your Analytics Gate plugin.

As an FYI you can subscribe to a news feed to get the latest on all new features here:

https://help.qlik.com/en-US/cloud-services/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sense_Hub/Introduction/saas-change...

Thanks

Ian

Hi Ian,

Thank you for update.
I would like the ability to download data to Excel without having to use Analytics Gate.
Direct Query charts do not show the Export menu when right-clicked.

Thanks
