In Qlik Sense there should be document chaining action like QlikView has "Open QlikView Document" trigger where we can easily navigate between Parent & Child Qlik Sense application along with filters passing. This options make navigation easy between different apps.

@John_Teichman - As you know Installing the third party extension is risky do to various reasons such as Security, maintaince, support. We have observed during each Qlik Sense upgrade third party extension stop working and which impact customers. Due to this we need fixed & verify to make sure its working fine. We have large Qlik Sense environment where we don't allow third/community extension as per our security standards. This feature is must needed within Qlik Sense so we can maintain user experience as QlikView provide.
@Patric_Nordstrom - Document Chaining is most commonly functionality within QlikView. In coming release will be happy to see it.
