I wish we could have a system variable that detects where the application is currently being reloaded

e.g. in QSE on premise or in SaaS. 

This will greatly help with app migration so settings such as data connections could be pre configured based on environment rules , if the variable is equal to QSEthen xpath else ypath.

Can you use a combo of ComputerName() and ProductVersion() in your script ?

In my reload logic I plugin a call to an environment.QVS and use the JSON object from monitor REST connection to identify metadata such as stream name and use that to control data connection usage.
