We should have robust pre-req checks before the install or upgrade starts. QDC and Nprinting already have this. We should be consistent across our product suite.
The list of pre-reqs should come from R&D. If those pre-reqs are satisfied the product should install/upgrade/run without issue.
Unfortunately we have had to close this issue as declined based on the lack of traction of ideation voting from the community on this request, it covers a number of different products so potentially you could submit another request for a particular product
