Replicate used to write a message to the log file whenever it would process a Transaction Log backup file (when replicating from SQL Server). The message would include the name of the TLOG file.

But this message no longer appears in the log file. Can we add it back?

Knowing which file the task is working on allows us to better project how long it might take for a task to catch up. It also allows us to explain any apparent delays (eg if the task is spending a long time without moving, it helps us to know which file is being processed).

We are currently in the process of moving all ideations to a new system. In an effort to make this migration easier, we are closing older ideations that did not see a lot of activity (likes/comments).
