Option to Disable Touch Screen or toggle Touch Screen off on server side

A customer request: Can you disable Touch Screen Mode by default? Such as an Off setting in the Qlik Sense server that disabled it for all touch screen laptops or other hybrid devices?

This is currently not possible.

Thank you for your feedback on ways to improve our product. While this is something we understand would be useful, it's not on the short-term roadmap. Please continue to show your support for this idea.

Thanks,

Yes this would be a beneficial feature to have.  I find it very troublesome to get to a chart's details when the touchscreen mode is on.  this should be a universal setting on the server side.

This would be extremely useful. We have issues with touch mode being enabled on devices that are not primarily touch (e.g. laptop with touch screen) and disabling necessary options from the context menu (e.g. take snapshot).

This is a great idea and very much worth implementing. Not only is touch rarely used in our enterprise deployment, when enabled the right-click context menus differ when On versus Off. A default of On causes issues with accessibility whereas Off resolves. For the enterprise our preference is to have the choice and set the default to Off. Thanks for posting this!

Any news on disabling the Touch Screen Mode from the server for all the users?
