We have a use case where we need to mirror in CDC mode Oracle CLOBS into Synapse.

Specifically,

Source	TARGET
Oracle	Azure Synapse
CLOB	VARCHAR(4000) (first 4,000 characters of the CLOB)

We are not able to make this work in QLIK in CDC mode.

We need to use the Insert \ Delete mode (for updates), and CLOBs are not supported in that mode.

We tried a few different configurations QLIK Professional Services, but can't get a configuration that works.

It is in the documentation that this feature is not supported, hence the enhancement request.We also appreciate that CLOBs are difficult to process, and introduce all kinds of extra complexity, and performance overhead.

If this could work with any number of characters above 2,000, it would be an acceptable compromise.
