QMC - Allow Multiple Apps To Be Assigned To A Single Task
In the QMC --> Tasks there is a 1:1 relationship between a task and an App. In our environment we setup up refresh tasks for dashboards to maintain data throughout the day. Based on the app this can be at varying cadences (i.e. refresh once an hour, every 2 hours, once a day). As our list of apps continues to grow so does the number of tasks we need to create in the QMC. It would be nice if there was the ability to assign multiple apps to a single task. If we have 5 apps we would like to refresh every hour then all apps could be assigned to a single task that is initiated on this schedule. Ideally, the scheduler would be able to run the data refresh processes in parallel. Therefore if there are 5 apps requiring a 2 minute refresh it would not take 10 minutes for the final app in the task definition to re-load while it waits the previous 8 minutes for apps 1-4 to complete before starting.
