Qlik Replicate - Add ability for repository import to overwrite entire existing repository
Add an optional parameter to the '/bin/repctl importrepository json_file=<XYZ>' command that will wipe the existing repository before the import of the specified JSON file.
This will be helpful when leveraging exports from a primary site and importing them into a standby site. Currently if a task is deleted from the primary site, and a new export is performed, importing it at the standby site does not remove the deleted task. It would be nice to enhance this so we can be sure the standby site matches the primary exactly and does not contain tasks that are no longer on the primary.
We are currently in the process of moving all ideations to a new system. In an effort to make this migration easier, we are closing older ideations that did not see a lot of activity (likes/comments). If you are still interested in this enhancement, please open a new ideation so it repopulates as "new" in our system.
