As a logistics company we are aiming to using Cassandra as a central BI repository for all our operational systems. So far we use Kafka as an intermediate platform to move data from Replicate into Cassandra. Being able to write data into Cassandra directly from Replicate would be very beneficial to us
As it was announced to be on the roadmap in the Data Revolution Virtual Summit of late October, am I very interested when this will be released.
Cassandra is still being considered as a Replicate target but no release has been set yet. We will certainly keep you updated on plans and in the meantime would like to continue collecting feedback from others as well.
