Qlik Replicate scale out configuration

Currently we have Qlik Replicate run on an active/passive 2 VM setup on top of MS Failover Clustering service.

We would like to ask for a scale out Qlik Replicate configuration where we can have > 3 VM all running active at the same time and Qlik Replicate application pick the least busy VM or available VM to run the task.

This functionality is not currently a focus for the Replicate roadmap.

Hi,

What would be the recommendation for large enterprises that have multiple SAP systems (15+) and several non-SAP systems (100+) such as SQL Server and would like to leverage Replicate for data replication to enable multiple use cases.

It starts becoming a challenging to manage and support multiple Qlik Replicate servers that cannot scale out.

Right now Enterprise Manager is the recommended single point of control for designing, executing and monitoring Qlik Replicate and Compose tasks.  It greatly eases the design, management, and monitoring of these tasks.  Though we do not have the feature you requested planned at this time, we will still collect feedback on it and may consider it in the future.  In the meantime, I would suggest you also go to the Data Integration Forums within Qlik Community (https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-Replicate-Discussions/bd-p/qlik-replicate-discussions) and share the use case there to see how other large enterprises are managing and if any have implemented a scale out design on their own.

Hello,

Thank you for your response.

Our company is already using Enterprise Manager and agree that it provides some of the benefits that you highlighted, however it does not help in terms of scalability as task execution is still performed by each Replicate server.
