We would like a new status field to be introduced in the Qlik Sense Scheduler
A status called Running
As of now we can see triggered, started and queued, but a started task does not need to be a running task. It can also be a triggered task which is testing if it can run or need to be queued.
We can see a maximum engine connection from 6 of 6 in the logs as Engine connection 6 of 6 established but we can have much more tasks triggered which all shows started e.g.
Slave-node servername.domain 1266 (136/6)
Which makes it impossible to tell from the qmc which tasks actually are running an which only wait to be queued.
Hi @ardobbins86 and thanks for sharing this idea with us. I've been talking about this with our support team and changing the status into collecting feedback here means, that I'll discuss it more with our R&D Teams to better understand the size of it and how we can potentially add this as an improvement into one of our next releases. We are trying to keep the ideas in sync with our backlog items and will update the status accordingly when the status in our backlog does change.
