Qlikview: Prevent Overlapping Values in Charts

When there are values close together in line or pie charts, the values keep overlapping, which makes them unreadable. I am aware there are some workarounds with using carriage returns etc. but we would like to see this solved in the client, if possible.

I gave this idea a like, because it'd be great if this would be fixed.  I first came across this when working at a client 7 years ago though and so it does feel a bit hopeless that it'd be fixed at this point.  Worth a try though!

GO to Dimension Limit option -->  Restrict the values which are display using expression --> show top 5 value

There is one way to avoid overlap of labels.

2nd one is

Use variable and slider to select by giving range like 5 or 10 values

Thank you for your feedback on ways to improve our product!

While we understand this would be helpful, it is not currently an item that fits our roadmap. Since we provide a flexible and configurable layout within objects and sheets, this can be a byproduct of that. As was already suggested here, you can definitely restrict the number of values and or change the range.

You could also take a look at our QCS offering: it's a responsive design which should alleviate these kinds of issues.

Thank you again!
