It would be wonderful to get an option for a tooltip on the measures in a Straight table

• Functionality: Right now it only shows the Label of the Measure
• Motivation: If you could somehow customize the tooltip. It would give the users the ability, to see more information around the measure as descriptions to the measures set analysis used.
  
  • Example of a measure: Label: Delta Sales Amount Rolling 12 Months - Tooltip could show : Period: 15-04-2019 - 15-04-2020.
• Importance: Like the above example you had to make descriptions in "Text & Image" objects or long descriptions in "Appearance - General" on the table. As an alternative you could make them in MasterItems - Discriptions and mark "Show Details" in the table. But you still need to select "Show Details" on the table, and if the object is in a container you still need to click twice for getting the information  = No user would do that! and it shows all the descriptions for the table in a list and not giving the best overview.
• Benefits: Save time, give better overview and more information for users and developers on the fly.

This feature would be great, and would be used frequently in my design. I would love to be able to add context to fields in a table on a hover. Limited capabilities of Tooltips are confusing to product owners who are requesting them, but Qlik doesn't have the capability in all charts. Workarounds I have found in Extensions are clunky, and do not look great.

This is a feature that we would also find useful.  We have had a request to display tooltips on a simple table in an app that is consumed by seniors.

agree. I was trying to see if there was a way to do it. I noticed that is in other charts but not in tables. Thank you anyway

This option was already available in QlikView ... would be great to have it in Sense too!

Tool tip is a good way to show notes in straight and pivot tables.
