Trend Line Feature - Access the Data Behind Trend Lines
Relates to a recently added trend line feature with the February 2020 release. We can now use the new option to graph a trend line, and if you hover over the line, it will show the fitted value, but we would like to access the data that is being used to graph the new trend line. A table of the data that was used to plot the trend line could then be used at different points in time to calculate trends, for example a 2% annual trend. Without the data, we are not able to use the new trend line feature to calculate trends.
This is similar if you would show the linear trendline formula like ( y-axis value = m*x-axis value + b (m= slope of linear and b = section on y-axis) in a legend in the trendline as a selectable text field in bar or line graph For me this helpful feature is yet missing and helps to check to calculate the growth of the measure (monitoring value over a time period).
