1. Add a sort ascending/descending capability to the Sense Overview.

2. Add search capability to the same.

3. Fix the dreadful - click Edit to save - really !? Edit means edit not save.

4. Flag which variables created in script editor were done with SET or LET.

5. Flag which variables are used in the app with a simple Y/N flag icon.

At the very least please fix #3. I still have to remember how it works every time and teaching others. I always get asked "why" qlik did it that way. #1 was used a lot in QV & #2 is needed especially when there are a lot of variable in an app. 4&5 are nice to have's for me.

Thanks for all the feedback, a new variable UI is most likely going to shipped before Christmas (SaaS), client managed the following release February 2022. Improvements include search, multi delete, duplicate (sort coming later).

The variable UI was updated in Feb 2022 CM release and in SaaS Jan 25th. New features include search, duplicate variable and bulk delete.

Great improvement to Variable Editor in Feb 2022 release.
I like the feature to view the Value of Variable easily.

Hopefully, when Sorting is released, we could also sort all the fields (Name, Definition, Value and Tags).
