The fields in the script  which we use in the filters can set to always single select. However while app migration without data from one to another environment this property is set to default.   So,  developers needs to adjust all the fields which they have used to as single select  every time they perform an application release. 

Background: this issue popped-up as a result of removing the Advanced List Box extension which caused performance issues (was removed on request of Qlik). Due to this issue, the customer keeps backups with data of all their apps before they do a release. As it concerns a big project , we are talking about a lot of unpublished apps with data, which impacts our environment. So, we really need to get a resolution for this,

Would really like to see a fix for this as well... also makes it more difficult to keep app integrity during releasing process, making it more difficult to implement CI/CD for a big project

Fyi, the field setting requires the data. Here’s a workaround:

1. Export the app without data
2. Import in the new environment
3. Reload the app
4. Run a script that sets the default value for the field and after that set the field to “Always one selected value”. Example:
