In Qlik View audit log, we are able to see details of end user's search. For example in our own audit log reader dashboard, we can see which were searched by whom and how many times, etc. But it seems search details are not logged in QlikSense audit logs. In our use case, we use Qlik Sense mainly in mashups. And we limit the fields available in search to increase performance. The ability to see statics of search usage will help us be smart in designing the search function. For example, if a field is not used at all in search. UX can also be different, if nobody actually uses search function.
In a past job of mine the search field contents revealed a mass of valuable business insights as to user behaviour, training gaps, data gaps, etc etc.
This is almost worthy of a separate Search Monitor app. It is not just the search contents that are valuable but what actions did the users take after using the different search tools.
