Amazon RDS Postgres SQL

I plan on using Talend Open Studio to connect to a cloud hosted PostgreSQL database.  Before I choose the provider, is there any issue with using the standard PostgreSQL connector to connect to an Amazon RDS PostgreSQl database?  
I noticed that there is a specific Amazon RDS MySQL connector.  Just want to double check before I sign up for the cloud hosted database.

Hi,
Have you already checked the the standard PostgreSQL connector TalendHelpCenter:tPostgresqlInput to see if it works?
So far, there is no Amazon RDS PostgreSQL component
Please vote for a new feature jira issue: https://jira.talendforge.org/browse/TDI-30849.
