I have to manipulate a String (or File) to extract same information in order to generate many row from one Row the rule of extarction is so complicated, and i m looking to an tool into Talend like AWK. regards, Yassine

In Talend, if the built-in functions can't implement your operation, you can hard code in a routine to do it or use a tSystem to call an external program/tool to finish the extraction.
