COMPUTE_DEPENDENCIES_FAILED Exception on opening dataflow

Hi all,

When I open a dataflow in a project, I get the following message :

An error has occurred. See error log for more details.
COMPUTE_DEPENDENCIES_FAILED:{path=META-INF/maven/org.talend.components/components-jdbc-runtime/dependencies.txt}

This dataflow has a tdbconnection component to a Progress database and I have configured the additional jars for the jdbc driver

But when I click the compontent, it is 'empty':

What can be wrong here ?

Studio version 8.0.1, build R2024-01

Java runtime : zulu11.58.23

Thanks in advance

Hello,

This issue seems to be related to jars.

Could you please attach .log file from workspace folder here which will helpful for us to address your issue?

You could try the below option and do let me know your observations:

1) Go to studio_installation_directory -> Configuration -> rename the .m2 folder to m2backup.

2) Open the studio with a fresh new workspace

Best regards

Sabrina

Sabrina,

Here the log-files.

The trick with renaming the m2 directory didn't work.

Hello,

Is the problem that you are facing in the actual JDBC component?

With R2024-01 there are multiple issue related with JDBC got resolved.
https://help.talend.com/r/en-US/8.0/r2024-01/cves-fixed-in-r2024-01

I see you are using R2024-01 patch and could you please create a new job and configure all the components manually in that job to see if it works?

Best regards

Sabrina
