Infrastructure Design and Deploy with High-Availability RFC Server

Good morning everyone,

For one of our clients who needed to efficiently transport large volumes of data from SAP (both ECC on Hana and S4HANA) to various targets, we have successfully configured and utilized an architecture based on an RFC Server and Kafka, as outlined in the Talend guidelines.

However, the client desires a high-reliability infrastructure and has requested the possibility of designing and implementing a scenario where the RFC server is redundant. This involves deploying multiple nodes equipped with RFC servers, allowing Talend to rely on either one in case of any issues.

While we are familiar with creating a Kafka cluster for a similar purpose, we lack experience in implementing such a scenario for an RFC Server.

Could you please assist us by informing us if it is possible to realize a configuration similar to the one requested? If it is possible, could you provide guidance on how to achieve this?

Can you also provide guidance or explicit documentation?

Thank you very much,

Luca
