I have read Talend has change data capture. Can you please describe in details:
1) how it works
2) do you support Oracle in particular and may be a DB2 as a source?
3) Is it a log-based, meaning read transaction logs or have a trigger based mechanism

i am using Talend open studio 5.4 version and java 1.7 jdk.
In 5.4 Talend open studio am not able to find CDC folder option.
is there any internal setting to explore CDC folder option?

Hi All, We have limitation to create triggers on source database due to which we are not going for triggered base CDC. Can we implement log-based(meaning read transaction logs) change data capture in Talend? Request all to help me on same, Thanks! Best Regards, Vivek
