Columns missing data when exported as csv or xls

I have added two new columns and when the file is exported to csv or xls, the colums are blank.
Added Person Status column and populated with ACTIVE
Added Company Status column and populated with Indirect
Why is the date removed from the columns upon export?


Please note these are not date fields but rather just text fields.  They appear in the Talend view but when exported they appears a new column not person status or company status as shown in Talend.

So your job is:
csv or xls > tmap > csv or xls

Did you map the date column to the output in the tmap?

Let me be clear, the column are not missing, but rather empty when exported. But the data preparation appears to be correct while creating the recipe, it is just upon exporting the file that the column contain no data.  This continues to occur this morning.  Am I doing something wrong?

Without a picture of your job and the components it's hard to guess what is going wrong.

I am unsure of what you are referencing as job components.
Every list I cleanse right now is different so creating a single recipe to fit all is not applicable at this time.
As I am new to using Talend Data Preparation, it is trial and error right now.

It doesn't look like you are using Talend Open Data Integration.
I think you are using another Talend product, your question should be moved to a different section of the forums.
