Convert Informatica metadata and mapping to talend
Hi all,
Is it possible to convert informatica powercenter mappings and metadata to talend mappings. I know its quite complicated but whether there is any option to convert the metadata from informatica to talend. Is it possible in talend enterprise edition and in open source.

I know Talend were looking into this a while back, but I am not sure whether anything has been released. I would say that it would be very hard to do this for anything but very basic Informatica jobs. The tools are just too different and you have to think about problems in different ways. The best way to convert from Informatica to Talend is to get a consultant who has used both and can think in both.
