Does Talend provide editor for gXML (Guideline XML)?

Talend Data Mapper provides a way to generate EDI structures by importing gXML files. Does Talend Data Mapper provide an editor for creating gXML file? TDM has no documentation on how to create EDI structure manually from scratch without gXML.

TDM documentation does give information on using Edifecs but that costs extra money to buy license for specbuilder, which internally provides mapping and other capabilities. In that case, how could TDM license help us?

 So far, TDM does not provide a gXML editor and is not attempting at competing with specBuilders.
