Dots in Column headers??

My apologies if this question has already been asked/answered, I didn't find anything about it.
Is it possible to use dots in column headers in any of the TOS components?
I have to create csv files in which one of the column header has to be "Time.Flag". So far, I used tFileOutputDelimited with the last column header set with "TimeFlag" then I re-open the file with tPerl component and over-write the column header.
It works fine but I would really like to avoid using tPerl and would like to optimise the job as it takes un-necessary processing time.
Any help welcomed, thanks by advance.

Unfortunately, it is not allowed to use a dots in column name.

Such a bummer ... but very good to know indeed.
Any plans to change this feature? I would really like to be able to insert dots in my columns names ...
