Hi Gurus, I would like to know if is possible to extract data from SAP using the open source version, I was reading that in the old version there was a component called tsapinput and tsapoutput, but in the version 6.0.1 i can`t find it. I can`t find too the component to read BAPI or through the RFC, they are only in the licenced version? Other point, to extract data from SAP BW, if I use the component tsapbwinput is enough? I can`t do extraction because there is a field (JDBC URL) that I don`t know what I have to filled. Tks,

tSapInput and tSapOutput components deprecated before 6.0 have been removed from Talend open studio 6.0.
There are custom components tSapInput and tSapOut on Talend Exchange which are used to allow to extract data from an SAP system at any level through calling RFC or BAPI functions and write data into an SAP system. You can download tSapInput and tSapOut components freely from Talend Exchange Portal and install them into your open studio.
