Hello everyone,
I'm looking for a compilation of best practices and methods to integrate data, in several cases.
For instance : to check if data is in one source but not in another, join data (inner join) using a tmap and get rejected data. Rejected data are here the data which are in one source but not in the other one.
Another example : in what cases surrogate keys are necessary and useful, and how to create them...
I'm looking for any URLs, book or anything else.
Thanks !
Hi,
Right now, we have created best practices at a higher level (as shared in my previous blog) as there are 1000+ connectors in Talend and creating best practice at a modular level may not be practically possible. At the same time, there are lot of webinars and blogs in Talend website for most popular topics and Talend community posts themselves work as points of reference.
Warm Regards,
Nikhil Thampi

Hello,
it's helpful but it's not exactly what I'm looking for. I really look for things to do in specific situations, to get specific results.
Hi,
Could you please share your current job design and based on that our community members will be able to provide specific guidelines?
Warm Regards,
Nikhil Thampi

Here the point is that there is no specific case (job), it's just about sharing tips concerning things to do in specific cases.
For example, in my first post I said :
"For instance : to check if data is in one source but not in another, join data (inner join) using a tmap and get rejected data. Rejected data are here the data which are in one source but not in the other one.
