HdfsList Component RegEx

I'm testing the usage of "Use Glob Expressions as Filemask (Unchecked means Perl5 Regex Expression)
Has anyone used a regex search using the HdfsList component using a Perl5 Regex expressions.
I testing how to filter out information within the hadoop eco system.
Will continue to test just wanted to see if I'm headed in the right direction as far as syntax when "Use Glob Expressions" is unchecked.

Did you get any problem when you use  Perl5 Regex expressions in your tHDFSList component?
