HiveSQLException when trying to run Hive job

Hello. I am trying to run a relatively simple Hive job. Want to get some columns from 2 tables in a Hive db and then store them in a new table in the same database. However I am getting the error the following error which I have attached in a text file. I would really appreciate any help as I am new to big data and am very lost as to what I can do next.

Hello Sabrina and thanks for your reply. I am currently not experiencing the same problem as before but am getting very frustrated with another set of problems. I am using TOS for Big Data 7.2.1 on my work laptop. When I open Talend from my user I can not get past the 'Load SDK Components' step (have tried both jdk 1.8_2.3.1 and jre 1.8_2.3.1). I then need to close the application from my Task Manager. The corresponding information in the log files is below:
