Importing from Talend Open Studio to Talend Studio

Hi,

we have a lot of Talend Open Studio jobs that we want to import to Talend Studio.

It should be an easy and smooth procedure, but it isn't...

Does anyone know how to import jobs from Talend Open Studio to Talend Studio?

Hello,

Projects created in Talend Open Studio can be imported into Talend Studio using the standard Export / Import Items mechanism.

Recommended steps:

Export the project from Talend Open Studio as an archive (.zip).

In Talend Studio, use Import Items to load the archive.

Allow Talend Studio to run the internal migration process during import.

After import:

Review jobs for deprecated or changed components.

Verify custom routines and Java code.

Check metadata connections and contexts.

Clean and rebuild jobs before execution.

Note:
Because Open Studio and Talend Studio may differ in component versions and libraries, some manual adjustments may be required after import.

To migrate the jobs from TOS to cloud enterprise solution you need to request a migration license.
