Metadata --> File Delimited slow performance

Hi I am looking for best practice to create Metadata --> File Delimited 

I have comma delimited .txt file.

to change column name or add any column in Metadata --> File Delimited - talend will be very slow and hang for sometime before going to next step.

Hello,

Can you please clarify in which Talend version/edition you are? Please make sure the data type in the Type column is correctly defined if you want to modify the schemas.

In your Studio, click Window to open the menu, then select Show View->General->Error Log to see whether you have error stack trace there.
