Hey guys
I've just downloaded open studio and having installed it I'm finding the icon jumps once and the application doesn't open.
MacOS - Monterey 12.0.1 (21A559)
Chip - Apple M1
Anyone else had such an issue and if so how did you resolve the problem.
Thanks
Hello,
Could you please clarify in which Talend version/edition you are?
With this installation guide for talend open studio data integration V 7.3.1 about: TalendHelpCenter: Compatible Operating Systems, MacOS - Monterey 12.0.1 (21A559) is not list in the supported table.
Best regards
Sabrina
yeah I noticed that but it hadn't been updated for a while so hoped it would work ok.
downloaded TOS_DI-20200219_1130-V7.3.1.
Hello,
In the documentation we provide a list of operating systems that are supported, in the sense that we do provide an SLA and technical support for them. This doesn't mean other (non-listed) operating systems will not work but simply we won't necessarily be equipped to help you with any issue you may face with them.
There would be an update in installation documentation for the coming released version(7.4.1, 8.0) but not V 7.3.1.
Best regards
Sabrina
Thanks. So the coming release may support the latest OS? If so, is there a date for the release?
Hello,
There is no support for the latest Mac OS in the coming release as far as I know.
Please create a new feature jira issue on talend bug tracker.

Is there any alternate to install Talend studio on MacBook Pro m1
Hello,
Regarding of this online installation guide for V 8.0.1 about:
TalendHelpCenter: Compatible Operating Systems
We have added support for Apple MacOS Big Sur 11, Catalina 10.15 and Mojave 10.14.
Please feel free to create a new feature jira issue of DI project for MacBook Pro m1 on talend bug tracker.

Are there plans to add support for Monterey and on the m1 chip.
Having made a couple of config changes I now receive the following error:
The JVM shared library "/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/zulu-8.jdk/Contents/Home/bin/../jre/lib/server/libjvm.dylib"
does not contain the JNI_CreateJavaVM symbol.
Any advise on how to resolve would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Dave
Hello,
As far as I known that OSX 12 "Monterey" was released in October 2021, here exists a new feature jira issue for Mac OSX 12 Monterey and the status is Candidate. Our R&D team will be estimating that when we think this will be done.
We will keep you update to it.
Best regards
Sabrina
