Hello
Asking this question means you have access to Talend Academy ?
If yes you should have a look to the following courses :
- Talend Data Integration Basics
- Talend Data Integration Advanced
- Talend Data Integration Certified Developer: certification resources and practice test

Those 3 courses are enough to get ready, especially the "practice test" (most important). Otherwise at least 1 year experience on talend Studio is enough to manipulate and be ready

As a successful Data Integration Developer exam candidate, I found that thorough preparation is essential to passing the exam. I got Data Integration Developer practice test from P2PExams and it was the key to my successful exam preparation. These practice tests not only familiarized me with the format and types of questions I would encounter on the actual exam but also helped me identify areas where I needed to focus my study efforts. In my opinion, every candidate must use this Talend Data Integration Developer practice test designed by P2PExams before taking the final exam.

Hello,

I created an account on the talend academy but i think that it need to be done another way. Because, I cannot access those courses. They are nowhere to be found when I log in on the talend academy platform. And I wrote to the customer care service but they were unable to provide me with a solution on how to get those courses too.

If you have a link for those courses and the practice test, that would be really helpful and useful.

Thanks very much.

Talend Academy is premium, you have to pay around 1500$ per year in order to access it, those are not free unfortunately.
If you want to pass the test I recommend you to ask your company to pay for it. Without access, preparing the certification is useless since questions are not the same and the companies/people providing answer from past will not cover everything findable in the courses

I totally understand your frustration. Getting started with the Talend Data Integration Certified Developer exam can be tricky, especially when the official resources aren’t easy to find. I’m currently preparing for the AZ-400 exam, and I faced a similar challenge when trying to gather structured study materials.

Here’s what’s been working for me and might help you too:

  1. Start with Official Documentation:
Talend’s official documentation and community portal have a ton of free content. You can go through the “Getting Started” and “Data Integration” sections; they’re great for understanding core concepts, workflows, and best practices that are actually tested in the exam.

  2. Use Learning Platforms:
Websites like Udemy, Coursera, and LinkedIn Learning have dedicated courses for Talend certification prep. Look for ones that focus on “Talend Data Integration” or “ETL development using Talend Studio.” These help you get hands-on experience, which is critical for passing.

  3. Hands-On Practice:
Try installing Talend Open Studio locally (it’s free). Practice designing jobs, using components, handling errors, and connecting different data sources. Practical knowledge makes a huge difference when it comes to certification exams.

  4. Join Forums and Study Groups:
The Talend Community Forum and Reddit’s data engineering groups have active discussions where learners share study tips and resources. You might even find helpful shared materials there.

As someone still learning about cloud and DevOps (currently going through some az-400 exam practice questions material), I’ve realized that mixing official learning paths with community support always gives better results.

Stay consistent, take notes from different resources, and focus on building your understanding rather than memorizing. You’ll get there, it just takes a bit of patience and the right combination of materials!

Would you like me to list a few free online Talend learning resources or beginner-friendly tutorials next?

I’ve recently passed the exam and can relate to how valuable insights like these are. Dumpsspot really helps learners understand the real approach needed. Good job!
