Project (Jobs) Collaboration

Hello,

Good day.

I've been trying to look for an article that is related to the Jobs or Projects where in the developers can collaborate in a single project.

For example the developer 1 created initially the job/project and then the developer 2 would like to add some components or would like to modify the existing job. Then the next developer will be able to open on their end the latest one.

How do we set it up in the Talend Studio? I tried sharing my workspace to another developer and have him created pointing to the said workspace but it's not working.

Please advise.

Hi ddasagrandhi,

I created a shared repository or workspace and set it in a network shared folder. However, it takes too long to open it especially when initially setup. Is there any other way to speed up upon start-up of the application?

Please see sample image when I tried to initially point the workspace to the network drive folder.

Do you have any performance issue when the same project is opened locally? Please make sure your network is good for your shared repository or Git repository.

Thank you for your help.

I can easily opened the project locally without having any delay. thru Talend or File explorer. But if I put the workspace in the shared network folder/repository, that't the time it took a very long time to initialize or open. But I can easily open that shared folder thru file explorer. So, not sure what else to check of if there is any network parameter I can add in the Talend Studio to improve my network connection.
